About the estate
The Albourne Estate winery, located in West Sussex, was established in 2010 by Alison Nightingale and Nick Cooper. The vineyards cover a cultivated area of over twelve hectares on a south-facing slope with a geology of Cretaceous green sandstone. The estate cultivates grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus, and Ortega, producing sparkling wines as well as still white and red wines. Winemaking takes place directly on-site in a modern winery, combining traditional techniques with contemporary methods.
