The Akhmeta Wine Cellar estate was established in the year 2014 and is a member of the Natural Wine Association Georgia. The winery focuses consistently on organic farming and natural wine production, holding organic certification for both vineyards and wines. The vineyards are situated in the Georgian region of Kakheti within the Akhmeta micro-climate at an altitude between 500 and 550 meters. Viticulture and vinification follow traditional Georgian methods utilizing underground clay vessels known as Qvevris. The wines are bottled unfiltered and exported to destinations including the European Union, the USA, China, and Japan.
