About the estate
The Abate Nero estate was founded in the early nineteen-seventies in the Trentino region by a group of friends including winemaker Luciano Lunelli, specializing in traditional method sparkling wines. Following its beginnings in Lavis, the winery moved to its current location in San Lazzaro in 1980. The annual production reaches approximately seventy thousand bottles. Every production stage is carried out manually with an emphasis on extended yeast aging and the crafting of distinctive spumanti. The portfolio includes wines from the Trentino DOC and Trento DOC appellations.
