Présentation du domaine
Le domaine Ambari fait remonter son histoire à 1920, année où fut restaurée une cave historique qui constitue encore aujourd'hui le cœur de la production. Le nom dérive de la tradition des vendanges et est synonyme de vins de grande qualité. Le vignoble s'étend sur 250 hectares à Kakheti et dans d'autres régions traditionnelles, cultivant des cépages géorgiens classiques tels que Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Kisi et Kakhuri Mtsvane. Sous la direction du chef caviste Giorgi Babunidze, le domaine associe traditions ancestrales et technologie européenne moderne.
L'annuaire eno recense 22 vins, principalement issus de Saperavi et Rkatsiteli. Le domaine fournit importateurs et distributeurs. Il exporte notamment vers Autriche, Bulgarie, Allemagne et Suisse.
