Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Monteverdi wurde ursprünglich von Ugo Lombardelli gegründet und wird heute in Ponte Dell'Olio in der Emilia-Romagna von einer Familie geführt. Die Rebfläche umfasst dreißig Hektar auf den Hängen dreier Hügel der Colli Piacentini. Zum Rebsortenspektrum gehören traditionelle Sorten wie Ortrugo, Malvasia, Barbera und Bonarda sowie internationale Varietäten wie Cabernet Sauvignon und Sauvignon blanc. Die Vinifikation verbindet traditionelle Methoden mit modernen önologischen Techniken in Kellern, die für die Reifung ausgestattet sind. Die Weine werden in Flaschen und als offene Weine vertrieben.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 18 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Barbera und Croatina (Bonarda). Der Betrieb beliefert Handel und Gastronomie.
