Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Gusbourne wurde im Jahr 2004 gegründet und bewirtschaftet eine Rebfläche von 60 Hektar in Appledore, Kent. Der Betrieb baut Chardonnay, Pinot Noir und Pinot Meunier an, wobei vorwiegend burgundische Klonen zum Einsatz kommen. Unter der Leitung von Chief Vineyard Manager Jon Pollard setzt das Team auf einen nachhaltigen und naturnahen Ansatz im Weinberg. Die Lese der Trauben erfolgt ausschließlich per Hand durch erfahrene Mitarbeiter. Alle Schaumweine werden nach der traditionellen Methode vinifiziert.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 23 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Pinot Meunier und Chardonnay. Der Betrieb beliefert Gastronomie und Handel.
