Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Eclipse Distribution bewirtschaftet eine Rebfläche von 35 Hektar in Georgien, gelegen in der Alazani-Töne in der Region Kachetien innerhalb der Kindzmarauli-Zone. Gegründet von Partnern aus dem IT-Bereich, verfügt der Betrieb über Parzellen in der Nähe von Nekresi, Sanavardo, Kuchatani und dem Fluss Bursa. Zum Rebsortenspiegel gehören unter anderem Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon sowie die lokalen Sorten Kisi, Khikhvi und Mtsvane. Die Lese erfolgt ausschließlich per Hand, wobei traditionelle georgische Methoden mit europäischen Technologien kombiniert werden. Die Weine umfassen unter anderem Erzeugnisse der Denominationen Kakheti PDO und Kindzmarauli PDO.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 19 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Rkatsiteli und Saperavi.
