Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Cantine Strapellum wurde im Jahr 1997 in Rapolla in der Region Basilikata gegründet und liegt am Fuße des erloschenen Vulkans Monte Vulture. Auf einer Rebfläche von 43 Hektar werden neben der Hauptrebsorte Aglianico auch weiße Sorten wie Fiano, Greco und Malvasia angebaut. Die Böden vulkanischen Ursprungs prägen den Charakter der Weine, zu denen neben traditionellen Stillweinen auch verschiedene Schaumweine gehören. Das Sortiment umfasst unter anderem Aglianico del Vulture und Aglianico del Vulture Superiore.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 16 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Aglianico del Vulture und Muscat. Der Betrieb beliefert Handel.
