Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Aurelia Visinescu - Domeniile Sahateni wurde im Jahr 2003 von der Önologin Aurelia Vișinescu und ihrem Geschäftspartner Steve Cacenco gegründet. Die Rebfläche umfasst 82 Hektar in der Region Dealu Mare, wo kalk- und tonhaltige Böden sowie günstige Lichtverhältnisse optimale Bedingungen bieten. Angebaut werden rote Rebsorten wie Fetească Neagră, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir und Syrah sowie weiße Sorten wie Fetească Albă, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Tămâioasă Românească und Pinot Grigio. Die Kelleranlage verfügt über moderne Gärtechnik, eine Untergrundschicht für Barriques zur Fasslagerung sowie eine vollautomatische Abfüllanlage.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 18 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Fetească Neagră und Cabernet Sauvignon.
