About the estate
The Weinhof Kloster Posa estate looks back on a long viticultural tradition founded by monks in the 12th century. After a break of over two hundred years, new vines were planted again in the late 1990s. Today, four white and three red grape varieties thrive in the single vineyard site Kloster Posaer Klosterberg Zeitz within the Saale-Unstrut wine region. The site is characterized by weathered variegated sandstone and is farmed entirely by hand. The portfolio caters to both trade and private customers.
