About the estate

The Willems estate is a family-run business in the seventh generation located along the Saar river with nine hectares of vineyards. The grape variety spectrum mainly comprises Riesling, Pinot varieties, Rivaner, and Grüner Veltliner. The wines are shaped by the blue slate soils originating from the Devonian period. In the cellar, Udo Willems and his son Martin apply the principle of intervening as little as possible and as much as necessary.

The eno directory lists 32 wines, mostly from Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. The estate sells to retail.
