The Weingut Walter Hostert estate is a family business located in the Ahr valley, now managed in the fourth generation and established in 1876. The enterprise cultivates vineyards in prime locations of the region for the production of its own estate-bottled wines. In addition to the estate's own wines, the offering includes small regional specialties and homemade traditional dishes. The winery participates in the environmental conservation program for steep and very steep slope cultivation.
