About the estate
The Wagner winery was founded in 1966 by Richard Wagner as a family business in Sommerhausen and is now managed in the third generation by Jürgen Wagner. The Sonnenhof estate is located above the village between vineyards and orchards. The portfolio includes typical regional grape varieties such as Silvaner, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Domina, and Pinot Noir, complemented by a few rarities in the wine cellar. The wines are produced in various styles ranging from dry to sweet. Distribution takes place, among other channels, through the estate's own vinotheque.
