About the estate
The family-run Weingut Theo Abel is located in the old center of Oestrich in the Rheingau and has been engaged in viticulture for generations. Cultivating about four hectares of vineyards, the estate dedicates 85 percent of its area to Riesling, alongside Müller-Thurgau, Rivaner, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. A mindful approach to soils and vines is of utmost importance to the family. The wines are categorized by distinct moods representing moments, togetherness, experiences and landscapes. Additionally, the estate operates a seasonal tavern for the direct marketing of its wines.
