About the estate
The Weingut Terges estate, located in Trier, cultivates six hectares of vineyards on the steep slopes of Deutschherrenberg, Burgberg and Jesuitenwingert. The winery has been led since 1970 by Peter Terges, who is known as a specialist for ice wine along the Moselle. The portfolio of grape varieties includes Riesling, Rivaner, Weisser Burgunder, Savignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Elbling and Auxerrois. Harvesting and grape selection are carried out entirely by hand. In addition to traditional still wines, the production also features sparkling wine made via bottle fermentation.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Blanc.
