About the estate The Steigerhof estate is a dedicated family-run winery located in Altenbamberg in the Nahe wine region, with a history dating back to 1922. Founded by Arnold Altmeyer, the property is run today across generations by Josef Wollschied and his wife Rita. After discontinuing general agriculture, the estate specialized entirely in winemaking and focuses on environmentally friendly steep-slope viticulture. Josef Wollschied manages both the vineyards and the cellar, while the daughters are also involved in the operations.
