About the estate
The Spindler winery has its historical origins in 1620, when Sontag Spindler came to Forst. In 1656, the family acquired the Forster Kirchenstück vineyard site, and the estate house that still exists today was built in 1770. Following several generations and divisions, Hans Spindler took over the estate in 1978, followed by Markus Spindler in 2007. In 2020, the traditional estate celebrated its 400th anniversary.
