About the estate
The Schweikart Dalberghof estate looks back on a long history dating back to a knight's manor mentioned around 1250. In 1760, the ancestor Johann Georg Weigel acquired the property, which has remained in family ownership ever since. Today, the winery is managed in the tenth generation by Bernd Schweikart. The total vineyard area covers around 25 hectares in Essingen in the Palatinate region. Viticulture is conducted with an environmentally friendly orientation of cultivation.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Dornfelder.
