Founded in 1809, the Weingut Schnitzler estate is located on the Saar in the Moselle region and is managed by the winegrower family Bernhard and Christine Faber. Across a vineyard area of ten hectares, the family-run business cultivates around 55,000 vines in a southwest-facing valley. The main grape variety is Riesling, complemented by specialties such as Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris, Regent, and Pinot Noir. The harvested grapes are predominantly vinified into dry wines. The estate looks back on a long tradition and has been operated as a family business for generations.
