About the estate

The Pfleger-Karr estate is run as a family business, with all work in the vineyards and the cellar entirely in the hands of the estate family. The operational approach focuses on sustainability and includes the use of recycling sprayers, pheromones for pest control, and a photovoltaic system for self-generated electricity. The product range is structured into a three-tier quality pyramid, extending from estate wines in the foundation segment through the top segment to yield-reduced top wines in the premium segment. The winery relies on gentle processing and modern cellar technology combined with traditional oak barrels and small barrique barrels.

The eno directory lists 27 wines, mostly from Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. The estate sells to retail.
