About the estate
The Weingut Pfefferle was founded in 1985 by Reiner and Beate Pfefferle in Sulzfeld in the Kraichgau region. The family-run estate relies on close-to-nature cultivation involving manual labor, yield reduction, and the avoidance of insecticides. The diverse range of grape varieties includes Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Lemberger. While white wines are gently aged in stainless steel tanks, Pinot Noir and Lemberger mature in small barrique barrels. The estate's offerings are complemented by an affiliated gastronomy business.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Müller-Thurgau.
