About the estate
The Weingut Magdalenenhof estate is managed in the third generation by Johannes and Dagmar Blaes in Rüdesheim am Rhein. Walter and Hildegunde Blaes took over the winery in 1948 and had it newly built as an outfarm in the Magdalenenkreuz vineyard site in 1968. In 1990, the next generation took over the parental estate and carried out extensive modernizations. Through the construction of a new wine cellar and continuous adaptations in cellar technology, the estate presents itself today technically at the latest state of the art. In addition to the four children, the family-run business also includes a guesthouse and a traditional tavern.
