The Lothar Kern estate is a family-run business currently undergoing a generational transition. Winemaker Lothar Kern oversees work in the vineyards, while certified viticulture and oenology technician Michael Kern manages operations and is responsible for vinification. Margarethe Kern handles customer management and marketing. The portfolio features grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Meunier. The passion for winemaking is particularly reflected in the aging of wines in traditional wooden casks and barriques.
