About the estate
The Losen-Bockstanz winery is managed by Thomas Losen, who practices close-to-nature vineyard management entirely without insecticides. Fertilization relies exclusively on organic composts and fertilizers on a slate soil enriched with humus. Through yield-reducing, precise pruning and intensive manual labor in steep terrain, the foundation for the vintage's quality is established. Under his care, pure wines with substantial structure and a mineral presence are produced.
