About the estate

The Lorscheider estate is managed by Michael Lorscheider, who completed his training as a winemaker in 2016 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Oenology from Hochschule Geisenheim University in the summer of 2017. The winery operates through the collaboration of two generations, combining traditional virtues with modern working methods and technology. The business is located in Detzem along the Roman Wine Route, where the local name references the historical Roman trade road.
