About the estate
The traditional Weingut Longen is a family-run winery on the Moselle, now managed in the fourth generation by Josef and Rita Longen together with Sandra and Jonas. Covering a vine area of five hectares, the estate cultivates wines in the famous steep slope Thörnicher Ritsch as well as in the wine-growing area surrounding the village of Thörnich. The portfolio includes, among others, over one-hundred-year-old Riesling vines on the Moselle mountain slopes, producing delicate wines with multifaceted aromas. In addition to winemaking, the property offers a guesthouse with rooms and holiday apartments as well as a vinothek for wine tastings and celebrations.
