About the estate

The family-run Weingut Loewen estate has been located in the center of Thörnich on the Moselle for generations. The core focus of the winery is the production of quality wines, including fruity Riesling Auslese from steep slope vineyards. The characteristic flavor of the single-vineyard wines is achieved through artisanal aging in small containers. Alongside light young wines, the portfolio features traditionally crafted sparkling wines produced using the méthode champenoise as well as aging in modern stainless steel tanks. In addition to winemaking, the estate offers cellar tours and guided tastings.
