About the estate

The Langenwalter estate has been engaged in viticulture in the Palatinate since the 17th century and is run as a family business today. In the 1960s, Willi Langenwalter began bottling and marketing the estate's own wines. Klaus and Renate Langenwalter subsequently expanded the operation before Thorsten Langenwalter joined the winery in 2002 after completing his studies as a viticulture technician. The vineyard area grew to 30 hectares in 2012 following the integration of his parents-in-law's operation. The family is additionally supported by Thorsten's wife Daniela and advised on oenological matters by Thorsten's brother Fred.

The eno directory lists 39 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir.
