About the estate
The Kurt & Heide Kranz estate is based in Brauneberg on the Moselle and dates back to 1616, originating from the former Manderscheider Hof. The winery cultivates about four hectares of vineyards in the wine-growing communities of Brauneberg and Mülheim, with the steep slopes of the Juffer and Juffer-Sonnenuhr sites serving as its figurehead. Riesling holds top priority in the grape variety spectrum, thriving on slate soils, and is complemented by Dornfelder, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Müller-Thurgau. To enhance quality, the quantity of grapes on the vine is rigorously reduced.
