About the estate

The Kreis estate cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards in the Rheingau region, focusing on Riesling and Pinot varieties. The family winery is run by the second and third generations, including Josef, Ulrike, and Jochen Kreis. The vineyards are located in sites such as Lenchen, Doosberg, Hendelberg, and Schönhell, which feature diverse soils ranging from loess-loam and quartzite to weathered slate. The estate emphasizes environmentally friendly vineyard management and a close connection to nature. In the cellar, traditional methods are combined with modern technology to produce characterful wines.
