The Rhenish-Hessian estate Weingut Karl-Friedrich Best emerged from a traditional family business and is managed today by winemaker Karl-Friedrich Best. The vineyard area covers 17 hectares with sites around Mettenheim, Alsheim and Bechtheim. The portfolio includes typical regional white and red grape varieties as well as international varieties, producing dry to noble sweet wines, sparkling wines and juices. For vinification and storage, the winery utilizes a historic double vaulted cellar in Mettenheim. The family runs the estate together across multiple generations.
