About the estate
The Johann Koch winery in Wiltingen on the Saar river looks back on a history dating back to 1930 and is managed in the fourth generation. Martin Koch took over the estate in 1994 from his father Franz Koch and currently cultivates the vineyards together with his wife Doris and his son Johannes as a dedicated team. The family produces typical Saar wines that are shaped by slate and reflect the unique regional wine-growing area. The grapes from their own vineyards are processed into characteristic wines that define the profile of the estate.
