About the estate
The Iselin estate is run by Sara and Rainer Iselin in the Murg valley, with its headquarters located in the Old Town Hall in Gernsbach. For 35 years, the winery has cultivated the Staufenberger Grossenberg, a steep single vineyard situated between Baden-Baden and Gernsbach. The vineyards, located at an altitude of 300 meters, are protected by wooded slopes and feature soils composed of upper red sandstone rock. Organic viticulture is practiced without the use of chemically synthesized substances in order to promote biodiversity in flora and fauna. The wide high-training system of the vines fosters a unique microclimate within this culturally and historically significant landscape.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Riesling.
