About the estate

The Idler estate was founded in 2012 in Strümpfelbach near Stuttgart, continuing a long family tradition in winemaking. The vineyards are characterized by calcareous keuper soils and a distinct microclimate across various sites. In 2019, the winery moved into a newly constructed building featuring minimalist and sustainable architecture. The vineyards are cultivated organically. In addition to direct sales at the Vinothek Lehenstein, the wines are distributed through specialized retailers, restaurants, and internationally to partners in the USA, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail. Export markets include Belgium and Netherlands.
