About the estate
The Weingut Herbert Port-Roels estate in Bernkastel-Kues looks back on a long tradition of vine cultivation dating back to 1624. Today, the winery farms 2.5 hectares of vineyards in the Moselle valley, planted with 80 percent Riesling as well as ten percent each of Rivaner and Dornfelder. The working method includes quality-oriented pruning, selective hand-harvesting, and gentle vinification. Alongside dry and off-dry Riesling wines, the portfolio also features noble spirits and sparkling wines. The low yield quantities are distributed worldwide.
