About the estate
The Weingut Häußer estate is a family business located in Albig, run by Ingrid, master winemaker Hans-Jakob, and Jochen Häußer. The winery cultivates vineyards in seven municipalities around the estate location, the majority of which are family-owned. The soils of these excellent sites consist of shell limestone and debris. The vineyards are managed according to the latest ecological knowledge with nature-friendly and environmentally sound cover crops. The cultivated varieties are predominantly traditional grapes such as Riesling, various Pinot varieties, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier.
