About the estate

The Weingut Günter Comes estate is located in Wolf, a district of Traben-Trarbach along the Moselle river. Christoph Comes took over the family winery from his parents in 2008 following his training as a winemaker and his studies at the technical school in Bad Kreuznach. Together with his wife Carolin, a trained hotel manager and sommelier, he runs the family estate with passion in the steep slopes of the region. Their work focuses on crafting modern, fruity, and expressive wines with a continuous aim for quality improvement. In addition to winemaking, the couple operates a traditional wine tavern on the property.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Riesling and Bacchus. The estate sells to retail.
