About the estate
The Gies winery is located in Neustadt-Diedesfeld at the center of the German Wine Route and manages 20 hectares of vineyards. After Johannes Gies, who took over the family business in 1976 and has since retired, his nephew Markus Büttner now runs the estate. Marion Gies and Neli Büttner support the business in sales and the office, while the next generation also assists with the work.
