About the estate
The Weingut Gehrig estate is located in the Palatinate region and builds upon a family history that began in the mid-nineteenth century. The winery, complete with a vaulted cellar and residential building, was established in 1888. The estate combines modern cellar technology with traditional working methods such as cultivating top vineyard sites with horses and aging in wooden barrels or barriques. The portfolio includes quality wines, barrique wines, and sparkling wines produced by traditional bottle fermentation.
The eno directory lists 34 wines, mostly from Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The estate sells to retail.
