About the estate

The Weingut Freihof estate is a traditional family business based in Sommerach that has been run for four generations. The portfolio includes various wine varieties as well as single-vineyard wines with aging potential that originate from top sites and are aged with patience in the cellar. The operations are complemented by an in-house distillery producing spirits from self-cultivated fruit varieties. Additionally, the estate runs a seasonal tavern with an inner courtyard for wine tastings and offers cellar tours.
