About the estate
The Ernst Popp estate in Iphofen has been cultivating wine at the foothills of the Steigerwald for several generations. The winery manages vineyards in the Iphöfer Julius-Echter-Berg, Iphöfer Kronsberg, and Iphöfer Kalb sites, as well as in Rödelsee. The grape variety portfolio includes Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, and Rieslaner. Operations are guided by a passion for quality, sustainability, and tradition in viticulture. In the cellar, the wines are crafted in traditional ways combined with new ideas in wooden barrels.
