About the estate

The Weingut der Stadt Bensheim estate looks back on a long history that can be traced back to the year 1504. Since 1988, the winery has been based at the foot of the Kirchberg, which is also the location of the vaulted cellar built in 1875 for the maturation of the wines. Axel Seiberth has managed the estate since 1987 and has leased it since the beginning of the year 2000. Despite its central location, it is only a short distance from the property directly into the surrounding vineyards.
