About the estate
The Denig winery in Battenberg is run as a family business in its fifth generation. The vineyards are predominantly located in the neighboring municipality of Kleinkarlbach and are characterized by calcareous loess as well as sandy-gravel soils. These diverse soil conditions form the basis for a broad portfolio ranging from approachable estate wines and local wines to complex single-vineyard wines. In their daily work at the estate, the family combines tradition with modern influences. In addition to winemaking, the winery also offers accommodation and regular seasonal hospitality services.
