About the estate
The Weingut am Ölspiel estate is rooted in Sommerhausen in Franconia, where it has dedicated itself to wine and fruit growing since 1651. In 1965, Konrad and Gertrud Schwarz built the current winery in the eponymous Ölspiel vineyard site. Today, the estate operates as a true family winery where three generations live and work together. Anja and Reinhold Schwarz manage the estate's operations, while Christian oversees the vinification process. The grapes are laboriously harvested by hand and processed gently at the winery to produce wines with a distinct style.
