About the estate
The Alexander Venino estate looks back on a long family tradition connecting six generation in the historic center of Wicker. After Franz Josef celebrated viticulture on the first vineyards in 1829, Alexander Venino has been managing the operations since 2007. On 7.5 hectares of vineyards, the winery mainly cultivates Riesling and Pinot Noir. The portfolio is complemented by grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Dornfelder, Blauer Portugieser, Gewürztraminer, and Blanc de Noir. The wines range from dry to off-dry, fruity, and noble sweet.
