About the estate
The Weinatrium Wallerath estate is managed by the Wallerath family in Schweich along the Moselle, where winemaking has been pursued with passion for generations. Spanning eight hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates sites featuring deep slate soils and sustainable heavy soils. The portfolio primarily includes Riesling alongside other white wines, red wines, rosé wines, and traditional bottle-fermented sparkling wines. The working method is characterized by environmentally conscious viticulture with continuous cover crops, selective hand harvesting of the grapes, and gentle vinification in the cellar. Distribution takes place directly from the Moselle region.
