About the estate

The Wein- & Sektgut Frank Höhn estate was founded in 1894 in Maikammer along the Southern Wine Route and is run by the family in the fifth generation. Spanning 15 hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates traditional varieties, international grapes, and new crossings. In the vineyards, herbicides and mineral fertilizers are intentionally avoided in favor of cover crops featuring herbal mixtures. A particular passion of the estate lies in maturing red wines in barriques and wooden casks, complemented by a portfolio ranging from fruit-driven traditional wines to hand-harvested top selections from low-yield plots.

The eno directory lists 36 wines, mostly from Riesling and Gelber Muskateller. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
