About the estate

The Wein und Sektgut Christel Currle estate looks back on a family history of winemaking that dates back to 1625. Grapes were delivered to the local cooperative until the 1970s, before the winery began vinifying its own grapes in 1973 and is now managed in the third generation. Since 2007, the sole responsibility for the estate has been in the hands of Christel Currle. One of the specialties of the house is sparkling wine production, with every step of the traditional bottle fermentation process carried out directly on the estate.
