About the estate
The Vinska klet Kolarič estate looks back on a family history that began in 1946 when Franc Kolarič and his wife Ivanka planted the first vines at Plitvički Vrh. Today, the family-run winery cultivates seven hectares of vineyards on the sunny slopes of the Polički and Ščavniški griči hills, with son Aleksander now actively involved in production and marketing. The product range includes various grape varieties such as Traminer, Yellow Muscat, Muscat Ottonel, Ranina, and Welschriesling, alongside white and rosé sparkling wines produced using the traditional method since 2004. The wines are distributed primarily in Slovenia as well as in Austria, Croatia, Ukraine, and Russia, complemented by guided tastings at the cellar.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Traminec and Rumeni Muškat. Export markets include Austria and Croatia.
