About the estate
The Vinárstvo Jozef Blaho winery is situated on the southern foothills of Mount Vajrab in Pukanec, featuring a vineyard at an altitude of approximately 460 meters. The current vineyard was planted around 1980 on the site of an older vineyard that was cultivated on wooden stakes. The cultivated grape varieties comprise Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Pesecká leánka, Saint Laurent, and André. The wines are produced in a traditional manner exclusively from the estate's own harvest and are stored predominantly in stainless steel tanks and glass vessels within the original cellar beneath the cottage.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Veltlín Zelený and Rulandské Biele.
